BOOKSELLER PROGRAM

Booksellers Program
Librarian Program

Please join us for a memorable convention and learning opportunity in Chicago in 2012 where booksellers and librarians are celebrated. This year’s program is designed to help established owners reinvent themselves to keep up with the rapidly changing market while also supporting new owners. Our workshops will focus on bringing in new customers, helping you to create a better presence in your community and online and find new ways to reinvent your store in the marketplace.

Our seminars are serious and cutting edge, Booksellers and Librarians are kept abreast of the latest trends in the changing marketplace, and have a forum to network with hundreds of authors and compare notes and share with fellow booksellers and librarians in round table discussions. And if that weren’t enough RT offers another 100 book specific workshops with programming and seminars on every topic led by world-renowned authors and publishing professionals. These workshops are open to all who attend including booksellers and librarians.

People attend RT to learn and network but they also come to have fun! Come dress up and attend the many costume balls and themed parties in the evenings and then attend our giant Book Fair, Teen Day and eBook Graphic Novel Expo during the day.

Plus booksellers and librarians get extra perks: we have private tête a têtes with mega authors, an array of amazing baskets raffled off as prizes and fabulous welcome bags filled with goodies and premiums you can bring back to your customers and patrons and all of this is offered at a special discounted rate just for booksellers and librarians.
