FAN-tastic DAY,  $50 admission — We have created a fun and exciting program especially for fans.

All of the events and parties for the the five-day agenda are included in the full registration package including FAN-tastic Day but fans can also purchase a FAN-tastic Day day pass that includes the Giant Book Fair (11am - 2pm), three one-hour time slots with 2-3 workshops per hour (2:30 - 6pm, see below) and a FAN-tastic Day party (6:15 - 7:30pm) where fans can mix and mingle with authors. A special locator booklet will be given out to all attendees so that you can find out exactly where your favorite author is seated. Choose “FAN-tastic Day Pass” when you register. (Note: The FAN-tastic Day ticket does not include the nighttime parties.)

FAN-Tastic Day Workshops

Boner Donor Bingo

 

(2:30-3:30 pm) Fun, innuendo, games, and a chance to save someone's life! You’ll learn about the bone marrow registry, how easy and painless it is to save the life of someone with leukemia, AND you’ll play CHEEKY bingo with prizes, candy and mayhem. This is one hour you won’t want to miss!

 
Hosts: Sarah Wendell (Smart Bitches, Trashy Books), new author Jane Elissa (who created an Endowment Fund for Leukemia/Lymphoma Research in 1987 and holds annual fundraisers in New York City. The National Bone Marrow Registry will be set up outside the room so that participants can get their inner cheek swabbed and join the registry.)
 

Who Wants To Be A Duchess?

 

(2:30-3:30pm) Ever wish you could go back in time to the Regency? Think you know your historical facts well enough to function in 19th-century society? Here’s your chance to prove it! Duchess, countess or scullery maid, answer our Regency trivia to earn your status and terrific prizes too! Join four authors of historical romance for fun, games and the chance to show off your knowledge about this fascinating time in history.

Join four well-dressed steampunk authors as they discuss steam and other punk genres in a way that will not only explain this fabulous genre, but rev up your engine — steam or otherwise — as well!

Pick up a little history about various alcoholic beverages from the Regency era, discover how to mix your own at home and find out how they relate to Jane Austen. After a brief presentation by your author-mixologists from the popular Austen Authors blog, you will be invited to each of our five tables to partake of a taste of history! Five different drinks to sample, drink recipe cards for everyone and a chance to win a basketful of Jane Austen-inspired books! Cheers!

Have your fill of candy and then join some of your favorite Entangled authors for a frenzied game of Spoons. It’ll be a delectably fun afternoon!
